Local connections. Real opportunities for Southwestern Oregon youth.
Recruit HIPPO is the youth workforce initiative of the Southwestern Oregon Workforce Investment Board (SOWIB), serving young people ages 16–24 throughout Coos, Curry, and Douglas counties.

Our team works within schools, WorkSource centers, and communities across Southwestern Oregon to connect youth with where they are in career exploration, education, training, and employment opportunities.
We bring together youth, educators, employers, and community partners to help build a stronger workforce and create pathways for young people to succeed right here in our region.
