Coos Bay, OR — The South Coast Regional Early Learning Hub (SCREL) is pleased to announce the appointment of Charlotte Carver as Interim Director, effective immediately. This appointment follows the recommendations of the SCREL Governance Council, which met on June 3, 2025.
Charlotte Carver brings years of dedicated service to the SCREL Hub, previously serving as Program Manager. In that role, she led the administration of community investment fund awards, coordinated data collection and evaluation efforts, and supported critical operations across the Hub’s initiatives.
Jeremy Skinner, Chair of the SCREL Governance Council, expressed strong support for the appointment. “The SCREL Governance Council is excited to begin working with Charlotte Carver as the new interim Hub Director. Charlotte has been an integral Hub employee for over seven years, and she has deep knowledge of the early childhood sector and stakeholders across our region. We are excited about her ideas for continuing to strengthen early learning on the South Coast.”
Under Charlotte’s leadership, the Hub will continue to build on recent progress. Over the past year, SCREL has launched several new initiatives aimed at expanding services for young children, families, and service providers across the South Coast region.
“We have an incredibly hardworking and dedicated team, and the scope of our work has expanded significantly over the past year,” said Charlotte Carver. “It’s an honor to step into this leadership role. I look forward to working alongside our partners and staff to ensure that all families on the South Coast have access to the resources they need to thrive.”
